A few of my favourite things: Tumblr, photoshop, tea, crafts, Twitter, baking, Instagram, polka dots, camping, Pretty Little Liars, photography, studs, video games, romantic comedies, Gossip Girl, traveling.
In September of 2013, I packed up all of my belongings and headed off to Toronto to begin living my dream life in the big city. My name is Sadie and I’m an ambitious dreamer with hopes to take over the fashion industry one day. I am currently studying fashion business, however my interests and passions extend beyond clothing and accessories.
Ever since I moved out to live on my own, I’ve developed a love for cooking and baking. Trying new recipes is very exciting for me (I don’t let my small toaster oven and single hot plate limit me at all… dorm room living at its finest). I also love home design. Whether I’m watching an episode of Property Brothers or whipping out the craft box and a DIY project, I love being creative with home design.
Living in the city has also shaped new interests that I didn’t have while living in my hometown. For example, I’ve come to learn how important an active and healthy lifestyle is. I’ve also learned how important optimism is in your daily attitude. I’m passionate and support many causes that fight for positive change within society. Since 2009, I’ve been a strong supporter of Free The Children. More recently, I jumped on the Relay for Life and cancer fighting scene. Social causes are important to me and I try to incorporate my personal values into each post.
From this little blurb about me, I’m sure you can see why I choose to blog about fashion, food, crafts and personal health. Through my blog I hope to appeal to college students or young adults who are looking for a push to change their life for the better. I know that trying to adapt these ideas and thoughts I share with you is effective in making me the happiest I’ve ever been. I can only hope each post inspires you to find your happiness as well.
