Hey friends! I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that the majority of you busted out into Christmas spirit over the weekend. Santa Clause Parade’s were happening in tons of cities over the weekend and Christmas decorations lit up the streets and mall hallways. At Anthro, we kicked off the Christmas season with our holiday gathering on Sunday night. I was really looking forward to our holiday gathering because not only was I going to be able to really get to know my amazing coworkers, I had a great excuse to buy an Anthro dress. I’ve been eyeing this dress up for a couple weeks now; I think it’s the cutest thing in the whole Anthropologie store… And we all know how many cute things Anthropologie has.
If there’s anything I can tell you about my style it’s that I’m typically drawn to lots of colours and prints… And this dress has both. Made out of cotton, polyester, rayon and spandex, you can see why this dress is so comfortable. It stretches and shapes to your body perfectly and is super easy to move in. I think the low, scooped neckline is gorgeous too, it’s perfect for accessorizing.
To accessorize, I stepped out of Anthropologie and into Forever 21. Forever 21 is a great place to find lovely but cheap accessories. Seeing as I spent quite a bit on this dress (thank god for that employee discount) I chose to take up Forever 21’s price offerings. I knew I wanted gold accessories to really compliment the colours and pull the orange out of the skirt part. But I also wanted something sparkley and festive. I had a few contenders but I decided on this necklace! I also bought a set of three bracelets, but I was disappointed with how they fit and ended up only wearing one. I’ve also been getting a lot of compliments on my lashes lately and questions as to what mascara I use… So I’ve also included some make up links below! I hope you had a great weekend as well. More posts to come soon, I promise!
